We have added two Shiba Inus to our family thanks to Abril and her husband. They are absolutely perfect and have brought us so much joy. They have playful and calm demeanours — super smart, though stubborn at times, we wouldn’t have them any other way.

Abril’s kennel is well kept, and we could tell from our very first visit how much she cares for her dogs.

We got our first Shiba Inu, Appa, a year and a half ago — and loved having him so much, we just had to get him a friend, Yenn. It was no question that we would go back to this kennel to adopt our new family member. We highly recommend Abril’s kennel ❤️

We started the adoption process from our Shiba Inu Kashi from Abril at about 4 week after he was born. The remaining days were a long wait, to be honest. Abril understood that and sent us photos and videos of Kashi and siblings regularly.When week 8 passed, we received Kashi with his bed, blanket, enough food for 2 weeks and toys. He’s the fluffiest and most cuddly among the 4 Shibas in our neighborhood. we are very happy with this new furry family member.

My experience with Abril and Frank (the kennel owners) was wonderful. Through every step of the way, both kennel owners were transparent and eager to answer any questions we had. They provided pictures and information about the puppies and parents when asked. Even now, they offer advice when I reach out to them.

We drove down from Toronto to their kennel, located in a rural area near Montreal, to meet the puppy. They have an enormous fenced area for the dogs to roam and they are separated by breed whilst in the kennel.

Abril answered all the questions we had about the dogs’ pedigrees and origins. Our puppy is healthy and has adapted well to our home.

My partner and I had an amazing experience working with Abril. She made the experience so much easier by FaceTiming with us so that we could see the puppies, and explaining their personalities so that we could find the perfect match for us. She was extremely knowledgeable about each of her dogs, and was consistently available for questions.

We would 100% work with Abril again in the future and would recommend her to anyone!

We could not have asked for a better dog and a better dog breeder. We were pleased with our little girl Koukie from the first day we got her. She is super healthy and was really easy to train. From the first day at our place she was almost 100% potty train thanks to April and was already listening to us.

April also helped us a lot at the beginning with her recommendation and tips. It is obvious that she takes good care of the puppies from day one!

We had an amazing experience with our very first Shiba inu from Abril. Can’t say enough great things about Abril; her dogs are extremely healthy, well tempered and great overall. Abril was extremely knowledgeable and helpful right from the very beginning when we went to her kennel and chose our Shiba puppy.

Abril provided all the information when she brought our puppy home, including his food, toys, blanket and more. He came with all his shots, records, and microchip information.

Even after a year and a half, Abril still gives me advice and helps with questions about our puppy.
